THOMAS (POSSIBLY) - Scottish West Coast

Okay, let's talk about the *Thomas* (possibly) up on the Scottish West Coast. This isn't a deep dive, sitting in just 3 metres of water, so it's more of a snorkel or a very shallow potter for those who fancy a look at a bit of history. She ran aground carrying two railway engines as deck cargo on her way to Canada, which is a wild thought to ponder as you float above her. Being so shallow and exposed, the wreck is pretty broken up, but you can still make out sections of her structure, now well-colonised by local wrasse and anemones. It's less about penetration and more about appreciating a historical curiosity in a very accessible spot, especially on a calm day when the visibility helps piece her story together.
