TOWY - Scottish West Coast

The TOWY wreck, a steamship built in 1887, lies in just 13 metres on Scotland’s West Coast. She went down in 1930, and these days, she’s well-broken up but still a genuinely interesting dive for those who appreciate the skeletal remains of history. You’ll find her boiler is a major landmark, providing plenty of nooks and crannies for crabs and lobsters to hide in. The site is often bustling with small fish darting in and out of the twisted metal. It’s a shallower dive, making it a good choice for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed exploration with a decent chance of spotting some local critters.
