Wreck of Bee Hive - Scottish West Coast

The Bee Hive is a proper Scottish wreck dive, moody and atmospheric, just how we like them. Dropping onto her bow, you’re immediately struck by the sheer scale of the cargo ship, broken but still impressively intact in parts. We love the way the light filters through the kelp forest that dances above the main deck, creating an ethereal glow around the resident pollack and wrasse. Exploring the stern, you’ll find sections where the ribs are exposed, forming perfect little hideouts for velvet crabs and nudibranchs if you look closely. The visibility here can be… variable, let’s be honest. But even on a darker day, the wreck’s character shines through, offering a real sense of history. We’d suggest timing your dive for slack water; the currents can pick up around the headlands, making exploration trickier. It’s a dive for those who appreciate history and don't mind a bit of a challenge, a rewarding experience for experienced wreck enthusiasts.
