Wreck of Bisco 9 - Scottish West Coast

The Wreck of Bisco 9 is a proper delve into history, a real standout on the Scottish West Coast. We love how atmospheric it is, feeling less like a sunken ship and more like a time capsule resting on the seabed. You descend into that unmistakable green Scottish light, and suddenly the outline of the stern begins to emerge, sitting upright and remarkably intact. It's not a deep dive, making it accessible for anyone comfortable with a bit of chill and a healthy respect for overhead environments. Our favourite part has to be the wheelhouse, still largely recognisable and just begging for a peek inside, though we’d always suggest good buoyancy and a careful approach to avoid disturbing anything. The deck guns are still in place, too, encrusted with anemones, and you’ll often find schools of saithe darting around the superstructure. It’s a site that rewards multiple visits; each dive reveals another detail, another shadowy corner where a wrasse might be lurking. A genuinely moody, engaging wreck dive.
