Wreck of Dreamland - Scottish West Coast

The Wreck of Dreamland off the Scottish West Coast isn’t one of those wrecks you just fin past. This is a proper explore, a real journey into history. We love that it’s still so intact, with a sense of its past life rather than just a pile of rubble. You’ll find yourself navigating through companionways that still feel like passages, into cargo holds where the light filters down in shafts. The steel structure has become a home for so much life, too. Ling often hang out in the deeper sections, their eyes catching the beam of your torch, and then there are the shoals of saithe that dance around the mast, flickering silver in the gloom. It’s a dive that suits those who appreciate a bit of a challenge and the quiet contemplation that comes with exploring a vessel lost to the sea. The currents here can be a bit frisky, so we'd suggest picking a slack tide for the best experience. It's a proper adventure, one of our favourites for a deep dive into Scotland's maritime past.
