Wreck of Falco - Scottish West Coast

The *Falco* is pure Scottish wreck diving, no frills, just history, and a good dive. We’ve been down here when the visibility stretched to a decent 10 metres, and you could really get a sense of her shape, sitting upright. She’s not massive, but the bow and stern are still distinct, and the engine room is usually open for a peek, though it’s a silty environment, so good buoyancy is key. We love seeing the plumose anemones, big creamy clusters, coating the darker internal sections, like forgotten velvet. Look out for the wrasse, especially the cuckoo wrasse, zipping in and out of the plating. It’s a dive for those who appreciate maritime history and don’t mind a bit of a chill; the currents can pick up here, so pick your slack water carefully.
