Wreck of Grecian - Scottish West Coast

The *Grecian* is a proper Scottish wreck, not some tropical sun-drenched playground. This isn't about blinding visibility; it's about atmosphere, history, and the sheer audacity of diving these waters. We’ve always had a soft spot for wrecks that feel genuinely part of the seabed, and the *Grecian* delivers. She’s broken up, sure, but those scattered plates and ribs create a fantastic playground for curious divers. You’ll find sections of hull, engine parts, and twisted metal that offer plenty of swim-throughs, though always mind the sharp edges and overhead environments. It’s the life that’s made this wreck home that truly gets us. We often spot conger eels peering from dark nooks, their heads surprisingly large. Crabs scuttle over the steel, and the anemones add flashes of colour against the prevailing greens and greys. We’d suggest keeping a keen eye out for the smaller stuff too, particularly around the deeper, more intact sections – nudibranchs are often found grazing on the growth. This is a dive best enjoyed slowly, appreciating the way the ocean reclaims its own. It’s definitely one for those who love exploration and a bit of challenge over pristine corals.
