Wreck of Harmonie - Scottish West Coast

The Harmonie isn't just another lump of metal on the seabed. It’s a proper dive, a deep exploration for those comfortable with chillier waters and a bit of current. We love how the wreck’s character still shines through, even after all these years. You'll descend onto a vessel that tells a story, her bow pointing determinedly into the gloom, often draped in sea anemones that glow under your torch. Inside, we’ve found the hold to be particularly atmospheric; it's a tight squeeze in places but rewards you with glimpses of resident pollack darting between the decaying beams. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, too – they pop up in the most unexpected corners, adding splashes of colour to the monochrome steel. This is a dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts, divers who appreciate the history as much as the habitat it now provides. Expect visibility to be a bit temperamental, so pick your day carefully, ideally after a few days of settled weather.
