Wreck of Jean - Scottish West Coast

The Wreck of Jean, nestled in the chill embrace of the Scottish West Coast, is a proper wreck dive, none of your scattered debris fields here. We love it because it’s substantial, a real ship to explore, sitting upright with a surprising amount of her structure intact. Dropping down, you’ll find the metalwork draped in colourful anemones and dead man's fingers, a striking contrast to the grey light filtering through the water. Keep an eye out for inquisitive wrasse darting between the decaying beams, and we've often spotted hefty conger eels making their homes in the deeper recesses. This site is a fantastic choice for those who appreciate the history woven into a wreck and don't mind a bit of a chill for a rewarding dive.
