Wreck of Lcv 584 - Scottish West Coast

The LCV 584 isn't about tropical colours or big pelagics, it’s about history and atmosphere. Descending onto this landing craft in the chilly Scottish waters, you immediately feel the weight of its past. We love how intact it still is, sitting upright, with the ramps and cargo hold clearly visible. It’s a proper rummage dive, perfect for those who enjoy exploring every nook and cranny. Look out for the resident wrasse darting through the superstructure and the sea anemones clinging to the metalwork – they bring a surprising splash of colour to the monochrome environment. Our favourite time to dive here is on a calm, sunny day; the light penetration really makes a difference to visibility. Just be prepared for the cold; a drysuit is non-negotiable, and don't forget good gloves. This is a dive for those who appreciate wrecks and don't mind a bit of chill for a unique experience.
