Wreck of Ossian - Scottish West Coast

The Ossian isn't your everyday scenic dive. This is proper, moody Scottish wreck diving, and we absolutely love it. Dropping onto her, you can almost feel the history. She lies broken but still recognisable, with her bow and stern sections offering the most to explore. We’ve found it’s best approached when you’re comfortable with limited visibility and a good bit of current, because when the conditions align, the rewards are immense. Look for the engine room, often shrouded in a green glow, where conger eels lurk in the machinery, their thick bodies weaving through the rust. The deck plating provides shelter for shoals of coalfish, and we’ve often spotted lobsters tucked into crevices, their antennae waving tentatively. It’s a dive that feels earned, a true adventure for those who appreciate the raw, wild beauty of the North Atlantic.
