Wreck of Pasages - Scottish West Coast

The Pasages wreck is one of our favourite dives in Scotland, even if she can be a bit moody. Dropping down onto her bow, you immediately feel that sense of history. She’s not some perfectly intact museum piece, but a working vessel that met a harsh end, slowly breaking apart over the years. We’ve spent hours exploring her holds, imagining the cargo, and seeing how the local life has completely taken over. You’ll find a surprising number of wrasse darting in and out of the twisted metal, and the anemones are particularly colourful here, often swaying gently with the surge. Visibility can be hit or miss, typical for the Scottish West Coast, but even on a darker day, the atmosphere inside the wreck is incredible. We’d suggest timing your dive for slack water; the currents here can really rip, making it a challenging dive even for experienced wreck heads. This isn't a dive for beginners, but if you love a bit of adventure and don't mind a chill, the Pasages delivers character in spades.
