Wreck of Prince - Scottish West Coast

The Wreck of the Prince on Scotland's west coast isn't about tropical colours, it's about atmosphere and history, a dive that really gets under your skin. We love descending into that typical Scottish gloom, watching the hull emerge from the murk. It's an imposing shape, and navigating the exterior is a treat, especially when the light is just right and plays across the metal. You'll often find a decent-sized cod lurking in the shadows, plus conger eels coiled amongst the twisted metal. We'd suggest waiting for a calm day with minimal swell; the visibility can sometimes be a challenge, but when it’s good, it’s remarkably clear for these parts. Exploring the deeper sections of the wreck, feeling the pull of history around you, is our favourite part. This dive suits those who appreciate cold water wreck diving, who enjoy a bit of an adventure and the satisfaction of seeing something truly historic.
