Wreck of Rosina - Scottish West Coast

Diving the Rosina is like stepping into a cold, dark history book. Forget your sun-drenched tropical wrecks; this is the real deal, a proper piece of maritime heritage on the Scottish West Coast. We love how the Rosina sits upright, almost defiant, allowing you to really get a sense of her structure. You can fin your way through the holds, imagining the cargo she once carried, and the light, even on a cloudy day, plays tricks through the gaps in the decking. For us, the Rosina is all about atmosphere and the surprising amount of life that has made her home. Look closely and you’ll find plump plumose anemones clinging to every surface, their tentacles gently swaying in the mild current. Lobsters tuck themselves into crevices, their antennae twitching as you pass, and the occasional dogfish will glide past, unbothered by your presence. We’d suggest tackling her on a slack tide for the easiest exploration; the currents here can be a bit of a push otherwise. It’s a dive for those who appreciate history and don't mind a bit of chill in the water.
