Wreck of Stormlight - Scottish West Coast

The *Stormlight* isn’t just another sunken ship; she’s a proper expedition, a hulking shadow against the often-moody Scottish light. We love the sheer scale of her, the way she rises from the seabed, still commanding a presence decades after she went down. Dropping onto her deck, you’re immediately enveloped by the gloom, which sounds a bit grim, but actually adds to the thrill. The hold is our favourite part, a cavernous space where you can fin through beams of light that pierce the gloom, illuminating thick clusters of dead man's fingers and anemones clinging to every surface. Keep an eye out for the resident wrasse patrolling the upper decks, and if you’re lucky, you might spot a ling darting from the deeper, darker sections. This is a dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts, divers comfortable with overhead environments and navigating in less-than-tropical visibility. We’d suggest a good torch, maybe even two, to really explore the nooks and crannies. The Scottish West Coast always delivers a raw, wild beauty, and the *Stormlight* is a testament to that, a challenging but incredibly rewarding dive.
