Wreck of Unnamed Shipwreck - Canmore 102545 - Scottish West Coast

Diving an unnamed wreck always sparks the imagination, and the Canmore 102545 off the Scottish West Coast is no exception. We love that hint of mystery. The water here often has a green tint, but when the visibility opens up, the wreck reveals itself as a hulking shadow, slowly becoming clearer through the murk. It's a proper adventure dive, more about the exploration and the cold water experience than vibrant colours. The wreck itself is well broken up, scattered across the seabed, but we’ve found some really interesting pieces of machinery and plating to poke around. You'll often find ling peering out from crevices, and the whole structure is covered in dense plumose anemones, swaying gently with the surge. Our favourite dives here are on a slack tide, when you can really take your time examining the debris field. This site suits divers who appreciate history, don't mind a chill, and enjoy the rugged beauty of UK wreck diving.
