Wreck of Unnamed Shipwreck - Canmore 194673 - Scottish West Coast

Diving an unnamed wreck off the Scottish West Coast, you’re not just exploring metal, you’re touching a piece of history shrouded in mystery. We love the intrigue of a site with no official name, it really adds to the adventure. Dropping down, the cold water grips you, then the ghostly outline of the ship appears through the green, its structure draped in seaweeds and anenomes. You’ll find squat lobsters tucked into every crevice, and the odd wolf fish peering out from darker corners, their eyes surprisingly watchful. Our favourite part is navigating the skeletal remains of the deck, imagining the final moments. This wreck isn't about vibrant coral, it's about atmosphere and the sheer resilience of nature reclaiming its own. We’d suggest a good dive light to really pick out the details, and definitely a drysuit – it's Scotland, after all.
