WYRE MAJESTIC (BOW SECTION) - Scottish West Coast

The Wyre Majestic’s bow section is one of our favourite Scottish wreck dives, especially for newer divers looking for a proper piece of history without the depth. Sitting upright and proud at a gentle 9 metres, it’s a fantastically intact trawler bow, draped in life. We love pushing into the focsle, seeing the anchor chain still running down to the seabed, and feeling that distinct chill of the North Atlantic even on a sunny day. What makes this stand out is how accessible it is. You can spend an entire dive exploring the winches, the broken mast, and the resident crabs scuttling amongst the plates. The visibility here can be superb, allowing you to appreciate the scale of the structure, even if it's only a section. It’s an ideal site for honing wreck diving skills or just enjoying a relaxed poke around a real piece of maritime heritage. Just watch for the occasional gentle surge if there's a bit of swell running, it can make navigating the tight spots a little more dynamic.
