Grand coude de Kele - Loyalty Islands

Les Éboulis, just a short boat ride from Taina Marina, is one of those spots we love for its easy access and surprising density of macro life. It’s essentially a channel bottom, maxing out around 16m, but don't let the shallowness fool you. We often find ourselves just drifting along, scanning the rubble and coral patches for those expertly camouflaged stonefish and scorpionfish. You'll see lionfish here too, hovering with their dramatic fins. Our favourite thing about Les Éboulis is actually the night dive. The place completely transforms. Those juvenile fish hiding in the little coral "huts" during the day become more active, and we've had some fantastic encounters with morays out hunting. Visibility averages around 20m, making it a comfortable dive for anyone, even those newer to channel diving. It’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for a relaxed dive with a good chance of spotting some unusual critters, especially after sunset.
