Mur de corail/Coral Wall - Moorea & Tahiti

Punta Dalila, a real charmer in Cozumel's southern stretch, is where we often find ourselves winding down a two-tank morning. It's a shallower site, rarely dropping below 19m, making it perfect for lingering on the reef and really taking in the details. You'll drift over big formations of lettuce coral and golfball coral, a nice change from some of the deeper wall dives. We’ve had some fantastic encounters here, particularly with turtles just cruising along the current, and nurse sharks often tucked under ledges. Our pick for a specific sight: those endemic splendid toadfish. Keep an eye out for their grumpy faces peeking from crevices. Visibility is usually excellent, around 27m, so you get a great sense of the whole reef, with schools of painted wrasse and schoolmaster snappers moving in unison. We’d suggest this site for anyone who appreciates a relaxed drift, wants to practice their buoyancy, or is looking for consistent turtle and shark sightings without the pressure of a deep dive. It's a genuinely pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
