Vadhoo Caves - South Malé Atoll

Vadhoo Caves, hugging the northern coast of South Malé Atoll, gives you exactly what it promises: a series of caves and overhangs. Dropping in, you're carried along by the current, then you dip into each cavern, finding a momentary reprieve from the push, before getting swept out to the next one. It’s a fun, conveyor-belt style drift dive, and the walls inside are splashed with soft corals – think blues, greens, and yellows – which really pop, especially if you’ve got a torch. We found it a straightforward dive, good for anyone comfortable with a bit of current and keen to explore some gentle overhead environments.
