STRASSA - Lofoten Islands

Diving the Strassa wreck in Norway's Lofoten Islands is a journey back to a moment in history. This steamship, lost during World War II, sits at a manageable 25 metres. We’ve found the wreck relatively intact, with the stern section offering some interesting swim-throughs into the cargo holds if you’re comfortable with overhead environments. Expect to see wolfish lurking in the shadows and plenty of smaller fish darting through the superstructure. It’s a compelling cold-water wreck dive for those who appreciate historical sites and the unique marine life that thrives in these northern waters.
