en menorca - Costa Brava

Kahekili isn't trying to be the next Molokini, and we appreciate that. It's an easy shore dive, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Head out from the beach, and you’ll find a sprawling coral garden in fairly shallow water, topping out around 12 metres. We love the huge stands of encrusting coral here, making for some dramatic underwater landscapes. What makes Kahekili a standout for us is the variety you get without needing to go deep or battle currents. You'll definitely spot plenty of our favourites, like the Ambon pufferfish poking around the coral, and those striking Big Long-nosed Butterflyfish. Keep an eye out for Leopard Blennies on the sandy patches, and if you’re lucky, a Bottleneck Sea Cucumber inching along. Visibility averages a solid 18 metres, so you’ve got time to really soak it all in. It’s a site that rewards slow exploration rather than speedy sprints. We’d suggest going early in the morning for the calmest conditions and fewer snorkelers. This is a brilliant spot for newer divers getting comfortable, or experienced divers just wanting a chill dive with plenty to see.
