ROSAFRED (POSSIBLY) - Baltic Coast

Diving the Rosafred on Sweden's Baltic Coast is a genuine journey into maritime history. This old steamship ran aground in 1955, and she now rests at a very manageable 25 metres. We found the wreck largely intact, with her bow section particularly impressive, still pointing purposefully into the current. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, you can really appreciate the scale of the vessel and the way the local Baltic marine life, mostly small blennies and the occasional cod, has settled into the nooks and crannies. It's a proper wreck dive for those who appreciate seeing history preserved underwater, not for divers chasing vibrant coral, but for those who enjoy the quiet solemnity of a wreck.
