TANKBORG - Baltic Coast

The Tankborg, a tanker that went down in 1955 after hitting a rock near Öregrund, sits in only five metres of water. It's a shallow wreck, making it a good spot for a relaxed dive, maybe even a snorkel on a calm day. We've found the hull still largely intact, with plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into. Expect to see cod and blennies lurking amongst the twisted metal, and the occasional jellyfish drifting by. It’s a solid wreck dive, perfect for those wanting to explore a bit of maritime history without the depth demands.
