We Dive - West Coast (Gothenburg)
If you’re diving the West Coast of Sweden, especially around Gothenburg, We Dive is a solid bet. The team there are proper enthusiasts, the kind who genuinely love being in the water, no matter the temperature. We Dive specialises in PADI courses, all the way up to Instructor Development, which tells you they’re serious about good training. We think they’re a great choice if you’re looking to get certified or advance your skills, and you want to do it somewhere you’ll feel well looked after. What we really appreciate about We Dive is their practical, no-nonsense approach to cold-water diving. They’re based in Karlstad but run regular trips to the West Coast, getting you into the local fjords and out to some of the more interesting wreck sites. You’ll find them well-versed in drysuit diving, which is essential here, and they'll help you get comfortable with it if you're not already. Our favourite dives with them usually involve exploring the rocky reefs draped in colourful anemones, often with a curious seal popping up to check us out. Visibility can shift, but on a good day, it’s a crisp 10-15 metres, letting you really appreciate the kelp forests swaying in the mild current. They’ll usually offer a thermos of something hot after the dive too, which is always a welcome touch when the air has a bite to it.
