INDUTIONMARE - Cornwall & Devon

The Indutionmare, sitting at 30 metres, is one of those wrecks that just delivers. We love how intact she is, not just a pile of plates. You can still make out the bow, which always feels good when you’re finning down the line. Our favourite part has to be the two massive boilers, often surrounded by clouds of bib and pollock. Drop into the engine room, and you’ll find conger eels peering from every dark corner, sometimes a couple sharing a pipe. This site really suits divers who appreciate a wreck with a story, especially if you enjoy poking around structure rather than just looking at a flat seabed. The currents can get lively here, so we’d suggest timing your dive for slack water; it makes exploring the cargo holds a lot more enjoyable, and you can linger longer watching the jewel anemones glow on the bulkheads.
