ROSSMORE (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon

The Rossmore, or what we believe is the Rossmore, sits upright at 37 metres. It’s a good, solid dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts. The stern is often the most intact section, with the propeller still visible, sometimes draped in snaking kelp. You’ll find some penetration possible around the engine room, but it’s tight. We’ve spotted plenty of conger eels making homes in the deeper parts, and there are always plenty of squat lobsters tucked away in crevices. Visibility can be a bit hit or miss, typical of the channel, but on a good day, the scale of the old steamship is really impressive.
