DORIS - Scottish West Coast

The Doris sits at 20 metres, a steamship that went down back in 1909. For a wreck of its age, it's remarkably intact, making for a solid dive if you're into history and structure. We found the stern section particularly interesting, with the prop shaft leading back to a single, substantial boiler that’s now home to a surprising amount of fish. Ling and wrasse dart between the rusted plates, and the holds, though collapsed in parts, still offer some interesting swim-throughs if you're careful and properly trained. It's a dive that rewards slow exploration, best for those with a bit of wreck diving experience under their belt.
