STOLWIJK - Scottish West Coast

The Stolwijk, a steamship grounded off Donegal in 1940, offers a proper shallow wreck dive on the Scottish West Coast. Lying at just 6 metres, most of the wreck is easily accessible, making it a good choice for divers wanting to get up close with maritime history without deep decompression stops. You'll find a lot of the structure intact, draped in kelp and alive with small crustaceans, nudibranchs, and a surprising number of wrasse darting between the metalwork. It's a great spot for an extended bottom time, really letting you pick through the details and imagine its past.
