Story Divers - Sharm el-Sheikh
The team at Story Divers are a breath of fresh air in Sharm, steering well clear of the cattle boat mentality that can plague the bigger operations here. We’ve found they really shine with their small group focus, making them an excellent pick for anyone who prefers a more personal touch, whether you’re working on a specialty course or just want to avoid feeling like part of a production line. This is the place you choose when you want your dive guide to actually remember your name and your preferences by the end of the trip. They run a tight ship, but with a relaxed vibe, which we totally appreciate. On one trip with them to Ras Mohammed, we practically had Shark Reef to ourselves for the first 20 minutes, which, if you know Sharm, is practically unheard of. The guides are brilliant at finding those quieter windows, and they’re absolute eagle eyes for the smaller stuff – we spotted a juvenile emperor angelfish tucked into a whip coral that we would have swam right past otherwise. It’s that kind of attention to detail that sets them apart. They’re PADI 5-star, so all the usual courses are on offer, but we’d suggest them particularly for advanced training where that individual attention really pays off.
