Mozdivers - Bazaruto Archipelago
Mozdivers isn't a deep dive, but it's one of our favourite spots for a leisurely explore, especially when the current isn't playing nice elsewhere. We usually find ourselves drifting over these gentle coral slopes, spotting a dizzying number of reef fish. You'll definitely see plenty of the usual suspects like Sergeant-majors and Scissortail sergeants, but keep an eye out for the flashier ones. We always get a kick out of the Halfmoon triggerfish, with their bold colours, and the sleek Unicornfish, just gliding by. This site is a fantastic choice for photographers who love macro, or anyone who enjoys taking their time to really observe the smaller inhabitants. We often spot Coral blennies peeking out of crevices, and a variety of Tobies and Surgeonfish just going about their day. The visibility here can be quite good, especially in the mornings before the wind picks up. If you're lucky, you might even have a loggerhead turtle cruise past; we’ve had some magical encounters here, just hanging out near the sandy patches.
