LINDHOLM - North Sea Coast

Lindholm, off the North Sea coast, isn’t your typical Caribbean wreck dive. Forget warm water and endless visibility. This is a cold-water dive, often with a moody green hue, but it’s precisely that atmosphere we love. The merchant vessel went down in 1953, and she now rests at a shallow 11 meters. Perfect for extended bottom times and really soaking in the history. What you’ll find here is a robust, scattered wreck, not a pristine ship. The hull is broken in places, allowing light to filter into unexpected spots, creating some dramatic scenes. We’ve always been drawn to how the wreck has become a home. Expect to see cod lurking in the shadows, their curious eyes watching you from between twisted metal. Conger eels sometimes peek out from denser sections, and crabs scuttle across the deck plates. It feels like a living museum down there. For those who appreciate the quiet drama of a historical wreck, where the environment dictates the experience, Lindholm is a standout. Our favourite approach is to take it slow, really looking into the nooks and crannies. You’ll be surprised by what you find.
