NORDSTRAND - North Sea Coast

Nordstrand isn't about tropical colours. It's about history, cold water, and the quiet satisfaction of a proper wreck dive. This site centres on a fishing vessel, 13 metres long, sitting upright and surprisingly intact at 28 metres. The visibility here can be a bit of a gamble, but on a good day, watching the trawler emerge from the green gloom is a real moment. We love how the wreck has become a home; you’ll often find decent-sized cod lurking in the wheelhouse and conger eels peeking from beneath twisted plates. Exploring the deck, you can still make out the gallows and net drums, now heavily encrusted with anemones and hydroids. It’s a dive for those who appreciate the somber beauty of the North Sea and the tales these wrecks tell. We’d suggest a strong torch and patience; let your eyes adjust to the low light. This isn't a dive for beginners, but for experienced cold-water wreck enthusiasts, Nordstrand offers a genuinely compelling look into Denmark's maritime past.
