TINA KRARUP - North Sea Coast

The Tina Krarup isn't just a wreck; it's a piece of Danish maritime history sitting upright on the seabed, a proper time capsule. We love how well-preserved she is, a cutter vessel that met her end in 1991, now a sturdy artificial reef. Dropping down, you feel the North Sea chill, but then the shape of the boat emerges, stark against the green water, often with schools of cod hovering like guardians. You can swim through the superstructure, exploring the wheelhouse and engine room, imagining the crew going about their day. It’s a comfortable 29-meter dive, accessible to most advanced divers who are happy in colder water. Our favourite part is finding the crab hiding in every nook, and the sheer size of the ling often lurking deep inside. We’d suggest going on a day with minimal swell for the best visibility, as that North Sea silt can really kick up.
