Northumbria Scuba Divers - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The team at Northumbria Scuba Divers are your gateway to some surprisingly good diving on the Scottish East Coast. We’ve spent enough time shivering our way through British dives to appreciate a well-run operation, and these folks deliver. They specialise in getting divers into the cold, green embrace of the North Sea, particularly around sites like St Abbs, which is our favourite for its surprisingly colourful walls and wolf fish. We love them for their straightforward, no-fuss approach. They’ll get you qualified through PADI and then straight out onto the local reefs and wrecks. Don't expect tropical warmth, obviously, but do expect a friendly face, solid gear, and a real knack for finding the best conditions on any given day. They know these waters intimately. We'd suggest asking them about the best time for spotting seals at St Abbs – sometimes you get playful encounters that are genuinely memorable, even if the visibility is only 5 metres. It’s honest, robust diving, and they make it accessible.
