Scuba-Life - Scottish East Coast & Borders
The team at Scuba-Life are your go-to if you’re looking to get stuck into some proper UK diving. Based out of Newcastle, they’re perfectly positioned to explore the fascinating wrecks and rugged shorelines of the Scottish East Coast and Borders. We’ve found them particularly brilliant for newer divers looking to build confidence in cooler water, but they cater to all levels. Their local knowledge is a real asset when conditions can be, shall we say, changeable. What we really appreciate about Scuba-Life is their dedication to making cold-water diving accessible and fun. They’re PADI accredited, running everything from introductory courses to more advanced specialties. We particularly love their trips to Eyemouth; the wrecks there, like the *Odyssey*, are genuinely atmospheric, covered in colourful anemones and dead man’s fingers. The vis can be surprisingly good, especially on an incoming tide, offering those dramatic outlines of a ship’s skeleton against the green light. You'll often spot inquisitive seals on the shallower dives, darting past, their eyes wide with curiosity. If you’re serious about making UK diving a regular thing, these are the folks to call.
