DEAN TERRILL (POSSIBLY) - Tobago

The Dean Terrill is a dive for the wreck enthusiast who appreciates a good story. It’s not about the depth here, just 7 metres, but the history. This motor vessel sank way back in 1958, and time has done its work. We love drifting over the hull, imagining what it was like back then. What you see now is a wreck that’s been thoroughly taken over by the reef. The visibility is usually excellent, so you get a great overview. Keep an eye out for nurse sharks tucked away in the shadows and barracuda patrolling the deck. We’ve found huge moray eels peering out from gaps in the plating, too. This is a relaxed dive, perfect for photographers wanting to capture that blend of history and nature, or anyone who enjoys exploring a wreck without the pressure of deep water. It’s certainly one of our favourites for a chill afternoon dive.
