SCEPTRE - Tobago
The Sceptre, once a tender vessel, met its end in Port of Spain Harbour during rough seas back in '75. What’s left now lies in a shallow eight metres, making for a relaxed dive off Tobago. We often find the wreck broken into sizable pieces, scattered across the sandy bottom. You can poke around the remains, looking for the shy garden eels that pop up from the sand nearby, or watch the resident schools of grunts and snapper that have made the metal home. It’s a gentle spot, perfect for divers who prefer a more leisurely pace and a closer look at how nature reclaims man-made structures.
