ST GEORGE - Tobago

The St. George wreck is a different kind of dive for Tobago, tucked away in the calmer waters of Scarborough Harbour. It’s a shallow spot, sitting upright in about three meters, making it a perfect second dive or even a snorkel if you’re keen. We’ve always found it a relaxed place to spend some time, slowly circling the old tug. The deck is still reasonably intact, and you can peer into the wheelhouse, now home to schools of snapper and the occasional lurking moray eel. The metal plates are well encrusted, attracting parrotfish and damselfish, and we’ve often spotted small nurse sharks tucked under the stern. It's an easy dive, ideal for those getting comfortable with wrecks or anyone looking for a chill afternoon under the waves.
