Muniyafushi Kandu - Vaavu Atoll

Muniyafushi Kandu is a solid drift dive in Vaavu, a good one for shaking off the surface interval cobwebs. We usually hit it for the easy ride through the channel, letting the current do the work as we glide past the overhangs. Keep an eye out for grey reef sharks patrolling the deeper channel, and occasionally, we'll spot a leopard shark resting on the sandy bottom if we’re lucky with the timing. It’s an intermediate dive, really more about comfort with current than anything technical, and a good bet for a relaxed morning dive.
