Valu Thila - Vaavu Atoll

Valu Thila is a good spot for a relaxed dive in Vaavu. It's a modest pinnacle, topping out at 24 metres, which makes it very approachable for newer divers. We often find schools of blue-striped snappers hovering over the reef, and white-tip reef sharks like to cruise the perimeter. You’ll see plenty of anemones with resident clownfish, too. It’s a gentle drift, usually, making for an easy introduction to Maldivian diving without the intense currents you can find elsewhere.
