BILBO - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Bilbo is a friendly wreck dive, easily accessible and often calm, making it a good choice for newer wreck enthusiasts or those looking for a relaxed bimble. She’s a fishing vessel that went down back in '78 after grounding on Briggs Rocks, then sinking during a tow. You'll find her fairly broken up, but there's enough structure left to make out the general shape of a fishing boat, with plenty of nooks for wrasse and crabs. We've seen some decent lobsters tucked into the plates, and the current, when it runs, often brings in shoals of small fish. It’s not a deep dive, so you get good bottom time to poke around.
