BOVIC - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Bovic, a trawler sunk after a collision in 1917, rests at 30 metres off the Scottish East Coast. It’s a good dive if you’re into a bit of history and don’t mind a proper chill in the water. We usually find the wreck fairly intact, not pristine, but enough structure remains to give you a real sense of its past. Look for the bow and stern sections; they're often the most interesting, with some big conger eels tucked away in the darker spots. It’s a solid dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts, especially when the visibility plays along and you get a decent run without too much current.
