BRADO - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The wreck of the BRADO, a steamship sunk in a 1942 collision, rests close to the breakwater, making for a straightforward dive. At just 5m, it’s a shallow exploration, good for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed potter. You’ll find the remains fairly broken up, but its twisted metal and scattered plates offer plenty of nooks for crabs and small fish to hide. It's not a dive for big pelagics, but the sheer volume of anemones and wrasse can be surprising, even in these cool waters. Visibility can vary, so pick a calm day after a period of settled weather for the best view of what’s left.
