INTEGRITY - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The *Integrity* isn't a deep dive by commercial standards, but at 60m, it’s a serious undertaking for recreational divers. We'd only suggest it for those comfortable with significant decompression, and ideally, those with some technical training. Sunk in 1976 after a collision with the trawler *Rowanlea*, she sits upright on the seabed, remarkably intact. Dropping down, the first thing you notice is the cold, even in summer. That’s North Sea diving for you. But the rewards are there: the wreck itself is a fantastic structure. Her stern is particularly photogenic, often swarming with decent-sized cod and pollock. We’ve found her wheelhouse accessible on a good day, and pushing through the open doorways feels like stepping back in time, even if the light quickly fades to gloom. The decks are covered in a thick carpet of plumose anemones, their white tentacles swaying gently in the subtle current. We often see wolf fish lurking in the deeper crevices, their grumpy faces peering out. This site is a proper wreck dive, dark and moody, but incredibly rewarding for experienced divers looking for something substantial off the Scottish coast.
