JENNY M (POSSIBLY) - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Jenny M, or what we strongly suspect is the Jenny M, is a cracker of a dive if you're into compact, characterful wrecks. She's a small fishing vessel, just over 9 meters, sitting upright at 45m. The visibility here can be properly challenging, typical North Sea fare, but when it clears, you get a real sense of her sudden demise. We love how intact she is, a little time capsule from 1983, probably went down pretty fast after taking on water. Our favourite part is the stern. You can still imagine the skipper scrambling, the panic as she went down. She’s too deep for a casual swim-through, but peering into the small cabin through the gloom, you half expect to see a ghost. Deadman’s fingers practically coat the superstructure now, a fluffy, orange carpet, and you’ll find plump wolfish tucked away in any crevice they can find. If you’ve got your trim nailed and a good buddy, it's a wonderfully atmospheric tech dive.
