KASKO - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The KASKO sits right on the shoreline, a skeletal steamship that ran aground years ago, now a permanent fixture of the Scottish East Coast. It’s barely a meter deep, which means you’re not really diving, more like snorkeling or even just wading at low tide. We find it’s a fascinating spot for photographers, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light plays on the exposed hull. You’ll see plenty of crabs scuttling amongst the corroded metal, and sometimes small fish dart through the ribs of the wreck. It’s perfect for a leisurely explore, especially if you’re looking for something a bit different or have non-divers in your group who still want to feel part of the adventure.
