MAGNE - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Magne, a Swedish steamship torpedoed in 1945, rests in a substantial 55 metres off the Scottish East Coast. She's a big old girl, 75 metres long, sitting upright on the seabed. We found her remarkably intact for a wartime casualty, with the bow and stern sections still quite defined. Currents can be an issue here, as you’d expect at this depth, so we always plan for a slack water dive. You’ll spend most of your time exploring the deck structure, which is home to some seriously large ling and conger eels. Visibility, when it's good, lets you appreciate the sheer scale of her. This is definitely one for experienced wreck divers comfortable with deeper technical profiles.
