ROSA - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The *Rosa* is a deeper wreck dive off the Scottish East Coast, sitting at 53 metres. This steamship met its end in December 1939, a casualty of a mine, making it a tangible piece of early World War II history beneath the waves. The visibility here can be challenging, as you’d expect for the North Sea, but when it clears, the wreck itself is quite impressive. Expect to see the typical North Sea residents – inquisitive wrasse, conger eels tucked into crevices, and plenty of anenomes and hydroids coating the metalwork. It’s a site for experienced cold water wreck divers, comfortable with decompression procedures and the deeper technical end of the sport.
